Water Treatment key projects

Bundamba – AWTP

As part of the Western Corridor Recycled Water project in Queensland, RGE has made a variety of tanks ranging up to 50 kilolitres. Handling sodium hypochlorite requires the specialised chemical knowledge RGE brings, supported by well managed manufacturing techniques. In this project fabrication quality was a critical criterion.

Gold Coast Desalination plant

RGE fabricated large storage vessels for this recently constructed desalination plant. The vessels are approx 220 - 250,000 litres capacity and were assembled on site in either three or four sections, each 3.3m in height.

Sydney Desalination plant

Partly due to RGE’s excellent reputation gained from its Gold Coast desalination involvement, it was contracted to supply and install large tanks into the Sydney plant. RGE demonstrated its high level design and fabrication skills to integrate an exterior spiral staircase into the design of the CIP tank. Pressure headers were also supplied under a separate supply package.

Binningup Desalination Plant (Perth)

RGE was awarded the onsite FRP Spooling contract at this facility, the second desalination plant supplying Perth.  RGE was able to point to its proven record at other desalination plants and the ability to mobilise a large onsite work team.
The scope is large with stringent quality, timing and environmental requirements and demands RGE’s experienced project management to maximize workflow efficiency.
