Ron Gee Enterprises Pty Ltd began operations in Penguin Tasmania in 1969. The company located in Penguin to service local pulp and paper manufacturers as well as a titanium dioxide plant and an acid plant. Today with over 40 years of experience RGE is a major provider of Design, Manufacture, Installation and Maintenance services to the Chemical Processing, Water, Waste Water, Mining and Pulp & Paper industries, Australia wide and overseas.

MICHAEL O'BRIEN - General Manager

Michael’s extensive experience in Industrial Fibreglass manufacturing has been at all levels. Joining RGE in 1980 as a draftsman in the Engineering Department, Michael then worked on the floor in various sites around Australia. Working through to management level, Michael moved on in 1993 to manage and successfully develop an Ambulance manufacturing facility. Returning in 2006 to his current position, Michael is implementing the development of the existing successful business and the growth of its core activities.
   
   

Marketing and Technical Management

TIM WRIGHT – Engineering Manager

Through over 20 years of practical and engineering experience over a large
range of industrial applications, Tim is well recognised as a specialist in
chemical resistant FRP. He has a Graduate Diploma of Management as well as
an engineering background and developed his expertise both in the factory
and as Site Manager for many projects.

IAN MCHUGH MIEAust CPEng RPEQ – Principal Engineer

Ian is a professionally qualified Mechanical Engineer with 35 years experience in the design and construction of major industrial plants for the mining, petrochemical, food, pharmaceutical and automotive industries. With two years full time work with RGE in the early 1990s and a lifetime interest in composite design, he is pleased to be back as Principal Engineer
