With an unparalleled understanding of FRP corrosion processes, RGE can design FRP to resist a wide variety of industrial chemicals including acids, alkalis, sodium hypochlorite and many organic solvents. FRP is a well defined, engineered structural material offering excellent chemical resistance, often in environments unsuitable for steel and concrete, and high strength to weight ratio. Common chemicals stored and transported in FRP include sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, salt solutions (plus hundreds more) at temperatures up to 110°C in some instances.
